I had the absolute pleasure of working with Katy of Katy Murray Photography on a styled shoot with a Valentine’s Day theme. Her vision was a non-traditional color palette of teal and magenta and an “xoxo” theme but otherwise, the design for all the pieces and the theme of the stationery was all up to me.

I decided to create stationery for a Valentine’s Day elopement. Picture this -- a couple decides they’ve had enough waiting around for the pandemic to be over and are ready to tie the knot, so they elope in a private ceremony and splurge on a luxury dinner for two. And then of course they have to announce their elopement to all their friends and family!

I ran with the “xoxo” theme and incorporated brush-style lettering on the elopement card, menu, and envelope liner to really make it pop. And of course, a luxury dinner wouldn’t be complete without hand-calligraphy place cards with a wax seal embellishment.
